Outstanding Dissertation Awards
All applications are due in 114 David Boyd Hall by 4:00 p.m. on April 15th and October 15th of each year. In years when either date falls on a weekend, the deadline is the following Monday.
Applications for $1,000 Outstanding Dissertation Awards, which are to be submitted after the dissertation is accepted, must include:
- Letter by applicant describing his/her career plans;
- No more than two pages describing thesis, including hypothesis, objectives, and anticipated impact of research;
- Letters of recommendation from three committee members, collected by the student in signed, sealed envelopes;
- Where published and where presented.
