Overview of the LaGenius / LaSmarts / SPIN Programs

LaGenius lets faculty and researchers showcase their expertise by linking publications, patents, and research to an online user profile. With LaGenius, you can search the profiles of other researchers at LSU and participating universities to help foster research synergies. The more profiles we generate, the more successful this program becomes!

LaSmarts provides current funding opportunities on a daily basis. By creating a brief profile and selecting keywords, you'll receive a daily email listing possible external funding. This is an indispensable tool for all researchers!

SPIN lets you search for funding opportunities from a comprehensive database of over 10,000 programs, using the same keyword thesaurus as LaSmarts/LaGenius. The database includes all open competitions during the entire year plus many past opportunities.
